Origins of Speed coffee is roasted just outside of Colorado Springs, Colorado. We think it’s pretty special to be located where “The Race to the Clouds” happens every year!

For beans to be considered “fair trade” the farms must be certified by a third party, which is very costly. Fair trade is a social justice and economic safety-net certification. It ensures a minimum price floor for farmers and sets labor standards, but it does not evaluate or guarantee the bean/cup quality.
Our roaster has worked with a family owned importer and wholesaler of green coffee beans for over 25 years who specializes in high quality beans and works directly with coffee farmers and exporters around the world.
We choose to work with them because they import the top 1% of coffee beans from around the world and it makes for a much higher quality product.

Origins of Speed coffee is roasted twice a week to allow for maximum freshness.

We only sell roasted whole bean coffee to maintain the highest quality flavor as possible and to allow our customers to grind it to their desired size based on how they will prepare it.

Most orders are shipped on the roasting days, ensuring that the freshest beans go out fast!

Since coffee is a perishable and consumable product, we do not issue refunds or offer exchanges.

Yes, the subscriptions are only offered on the larger 12oz bags at this time.
